What Is The Advantage Of Active Alignment

By Elinor Tran

Automotive and manufacturing industries have taken many transformations. One of the major transformations is computerization of their systems. Computerizing these systems has raised levels of safety of vehicles and other machines. Active alignment is one of the technologies that have brought us this far and it is done using computers.

Modern cars come with cameras which have been actively aligned to enable the driver view everything around the vehicle. Monitor are fitted on the dashboard to let the driver view all the camera views. When its night time the infra red night vision enables the driver to still use the cameras for an even better view than looking outside.

Using active alignment drivers have been able to beat difficult situations. Not only do the cameras provide a view of the area around the vehicle they also give warnings when the automobile is too near to other automobiles or pedestrians. Vehicles that have been actively aligned have recorded very few accidents.

Sensors are fitted in the vehicle to take over control in case something happens and the driver loses control of the vehicle. Sensors are able to force the car to a halt when a collision is imminent. Airbags are also activated when an accident occurs. Crash investigators also use data from the cameras recorded by an analog video recorder to access the cause of an accident.

Planar and single channel systems are used to actively align manufacturing processes. Dynamic adjustment of manufacturing processes has resulted in quality and highly performing products. The risks workers faced when working have been reduced greatly because they no longer have to do everything by hand.

It is amazingly easy to measure small measurements and make minor adjustments. This means the quality is improved performance of products has been enhanced. active alignment also costs less than passive in the long run.
